Some issues (color picker & box position)
-
So I find two topics about the same issue. But one is just about the table background color and the other… well… that guy has a fix but charges 100 dollars for the fix. Idiot, sorry for my language ??
Well the issues are simple to explain.
1. the color picker does not work. When you want to change a color to a custom color, you can use the beautiful color picker. Which gives you a couple of predefined colors and the option to get a custom color.
The predefined colors work fine! But the custom color picker does not. Where ever you get that box where you can pick a custom color, you can move the little round pointer and click the spot you want. But the color HEX code is somehow fixed to black (#000000). You are able to fill in a code but that’s not really the point of that tool. Maybe it’s something in the code of the plugin? I don’t know.2. The positioning of the dropdown boxes. Like if you want to make a header 1 (h1) text you can choose that option in a select dropdown box. If I have the page scrolled up to the top, the box appears where it should, right under the menu option in the editor.
If I scroll the page down and want to change some text to H1, the editor is above the textarea but that dropdown box is at the bottom of the screen. Perhaps something to do with positioning of these boxes?
I will check with other plugins that I use. But this did not happen before and I use tinyMCE Advanced for a couple of years now.
Maybe it helps to say that it happens on 3 sites I have (all different wp installs) All wp are version 4.0.
Firefox is my standard browser but I tested also with IE and Chrome. Is there a solution to this problem? Any tips or idea’s? Thanks.
