Some Issues

  • The theme is okay. There are a lot of padding issues especially with images and videos. Paragraphs and headings are very tight against them. Other block themes have this figured out. It didn’t score as well as other Block themes on Pagespeed tests. Site was in mid to low 80’s while the theme I picked is all 100’s on mobile and desktop.

    Plus, the support is non-existent. Asked a simple question in forum weeks ago and no reply.

    If you add the spectra plugin it really bogs down speed, so heads up….

    Again, it’s okay and I appreciate the work they did I just prefer quicker sites that are well organized without padding issues.

    Spectra One aims to be a lightweight theme. Can you share the results of your Pagespeed tests with us? If there’s room for optimization, we’re happy to explore it.

    I was having the same slowness issues in the wordpress editor. I went through the process of deactivating plugins the activating. I found it was the Spectra Pro plugin causing the slowness issue. Now it is deactivated, I don’t have the slow editor issue. But, I don’t have the added functionality of the Spectra Pro plugin.
