I reproduce also the problem.
In the backend “All Posts” :

https://****/wp-content/plugins/publishpress/modules/custom-status/lib/custom-status.js: $(html) HTML text after last tag is ignored
https://****/wp-content/plugins/publishpress/modules/custom-status/lib/custom-status.js: jQuery.fn.attr(‘selected’) might use property instead of attribute
Please make sure you are using the latest version of all of your plugins, and your theme. If that is the case, then you may want to ask the developers of the code mentioned in your warnings to update it.

@andergmartins it seems to work properly.

Still not getting notification in EMAIL and can’t change the default status to PENDING.
