1. That’s a good idea. We can add a filter here, https://github.com/verygoodplugins/fatal-error-notify/blob/master/includes/class-public.php#L100, will change that line to

if ( function_exists( 'wp_mail' ) && apply_filters( 'fen_use_wp_mail', true ) ) {

Then you can return false from the fen_use_wp_mail filter to have to use mail(). If that works for you?

2. That’s a nice idea as well. Will probably put it in the paid version though ??
