some images upload error.

  • hello,
    in my WordPress some of the images hangs at 15% or 10% or nearby, i tried lot of times and googled lot,,
    I tried lot of remedies, nothing worked for me,
    1) deactivated all the plugins – no use
    2) changed permissions of files & folders – no use
    3) changed the image file types, resolutions, size (least as 10kb) – no use ( hangs at crunching..)
    Finally, lost all the posts, setting …
    4) Re installed Database & WordPress ( Fresh install) – No use.

    So what is the problem, how to rectify this.
    Any downgrading WP will helps me?
    please, anyone…..
    struggeling from 15 days ??

    paste your /wp-content/debug.log here

    a random guess: your hosting account does provide enough disk space? Maby the harddisk ran out of space.

    Yes, contacted host provider, they said no problem from their side, and also they have reset my SQL server.
    Now i have re-installed wordpress 3 times with different versions, no use.
    But i can able to upload .PNG images, problem is PNG images are too large compared to .jpg, images slowdowns whole websites.

    and there is no different size options in PNG image files
    PNG images not aligning properly in mystile product description page.

    ohh,, @gerald@WPcustoms, your random guess is not real,
    Because im having 5 GB space and just 100mb filled.

    you installed a fresh version, disabled all plugins without success.
    You are always activating your ‘mystile’ theme right?

    have you tried to use the default twentyfourteen theme for testing purpose?
    Upload a few files to see if that is working.

    yes,, i tried with twentyfourteen, twentyeleven & twentytwelve..
    but no use…

    Small .jpg files like 5-10KB, uploads 100% & hangs… and gives me “http error”. all other .jpg > 10KB hangs in middle and gives “error occured try later”. yesterday i talked to host provider for 2hrs, gave all my wordpress access to them to test, they said from their end its working fine, no issue from host. what’s happening from here.
    i’ve tested with installing ubuntu on my PC, thought some problem with windows, but no, same problem there…
    is this a bug??… how to resolve…
    im searching for external plugins to upload image ?? ,
    its 6th day im finding solution ?? all over the google & Bing
    even followd some blog post having so many number of steps… same as usual – nothing working for me

    This sounds really strange.

    maby it’s a problem with the jpg itself?!
    strange meta\exif infos? cmyk profile?

    I’m really sorry but currently I don’t have any further idea where this bug comes from.

    ye i found solution, its problem with our internet service provider (may be), its DNS error, I’ve mailed to rectify this.
    But im confused, Why .PNG is uploading and why not .JPG, is this related to DNS???!!

    maby your ISP does have a file extension filter though it does not really make sense to filter\block various files.
