    Hi,
I am frustrated which means it’s time to ask the experts, so here I am. My client is running Karma theme on WPEngine hosting. Earlier this week, I attempted to upload an image and put it into a text widget located in a sidebar. The first image worked and I created another, similar image (for different books). The second image would immediately load with a broken link image. I didn’t do anything with it for a couple of days, went back today and BOTH images were broken this time. The original had been working. I deleted both images and sized them down a bit, then reloaded. They still aren’t showing. Meanwhile, another image I loaded (“Books” in the sidebar shown in the link I’ll provide) today works fine.

This site is several years old and large for sure, but it isn’t telling me I’ve hit some limit on images and it definitely didn’t warn me about image size although I tried to compensate for that just in case.

He has an image compressor working and it’s immediately compressing images when they upload. I’m not sure which one. A lot of stuff is now just coming through WPEngine or he loads it by their recommendation.

The page loading the sidebar is Test.

You will see “Courses” and “Books” but there should be 2 images below “books” that aren’t showing. If you look when the page loads, you see the broken image thing flash then go away.

I’ve tried PNG images, JPEG images and swearing at my laptop but none of these seem to be working very well. I read different topics but they seem to be a little bit different (of course my problem is special ?? ) Anyway, help appreciated in advance!

Please dumb it down…I don’t get into the back end of stuff to fix code. I’ve tried learning CSS but I never use it so there is no point. I would be clueless on any suggestions that involve getting into code to fix something, sorry.

    K
