• Hi all!

We have spent an hours and hours to get this fixed, but no luck so far. Some of our site images not shown or is broken if you browse our site with iOS device i.e iPhone. It’s not because of webp conversion cause you can see most of images and only some of images is broken; not all.
We have googled every possible ideas where to start fix this, but now we are at point where we need YOUR help. Check our homepage with iPhone/iOS device and say how we get all images to shown.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Custom theme, no external image plugins. Webp conversion made in server side.

    BR,
    Joonas

webP is not supported in current running version. There will be support for it from 14.

You can check more details about webP browser support here. https://caniuse.com/#feat=webp

Thanks for first reply. Not sure did I write bad english, but it’s not webp issue. We serve both versions of images and ~90% of our images is shown correctly. Just some of them is corrupted/broken and we have no clue why. CSS/JS or something spesific with iOS.

Easiest is to go our site with any of browsers with iphone and see how some images from articles example is served correctly and some logos or featured images not. Very very confusing issue!

@arcticrev I am sorry if i mis-understood. I am not so good in english.

Regarding your issue, this section (https://tinyurl.com/ydcufb4b) is not visible for me in Iphone X safari and using developer tools what i have found is that other images are using jpg but these 4 images are using webp. So i pointed our the webp is doesn’t work for iOS.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

hmm so our converter doesn’t work correctly if that’s the reason. I am feeling stupid if that’s the issue :S

Will check this on monday if it’s so. I believe that you are familiar with developer tools and know what you see in there. Thanks!

@arcticrev I have created a video for your with developer tools in action. You can check it here. https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/277117?key=7232c13c4ab351d1ff919983d6fdf96b

The top image is using jpg but not those 4 images.

    Thanks
