My images were successfully converted and exist in the webp folder. When I examine the network tab for the page, I see that some of the images (those served by the related posts plugin and those from the theme folder) are being served as webp, but the main image in the content (which is the largest image and the more important one to optimize) is not. This appears to be happening for all posts. I am using MaxCDN and am lazy loading with WP Rocket. I have another site also using MaxCDN and am lazy loading with WP Rocket and am not having this issue on that site. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks!

Further info – this seems to be related to maxCDN. I have caching turned off (WP Rocket, which is also how the CDN is called) when I’m logged in, and when I’m logged in the content images are served as webp. I can’t figure out what the difference is between the site that is loading them correctly with cache and CDN and this one, though. I’ve compared the settings side by side and they are the same.

    Hi

sorry for jumping at your post. But i have the same problem. The main big product images/galleries are not being converted. We don’t use any CDN. Hopefully you can resolve this for us and i will buy you few cuppas.

    Regards
    Daniel
