Hello,

Around a week ago, some images on the website turn up corrupted and do not render.
After inspecting the page, the affected images return

When I deactivate the image accelerator, all the images show up again, but as soon as I activate it, the images disappear and return a 404.

Hi @huntex,

Right now, the image you linked at our CDN’s URL is loading for me in Chrome. Here’s a screenshot.

It looks like the original version of this image is really big. Are the other ones that you’re seeing the 404 on also large like this one? It may be that some of your images are are too big for Photon (the engine behind our Site Accelerator) to cache quickly enough, resulting in a 404. They may eventually get cached and then display properly.

For me it says “We cannot complete this request, remote data could not be fetched” (see screenshot).

And yes, there are other images that do not render (see screenshot).

Can I do anything to force a cache refresh ?

Thank you for letting us know, @huntex. It’s possible that our CDN server nearest your location was unable to fetch the image from your site, leading to this error message.

I’ve purged the below URL from our image CDN, which will force it to try and fetch the image again:

– https://i0.wp.com/curaskin.ma/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Pack-Retiage.jpg?resize=768%2C528&ssl=1
