Some images not loading properly

    Hello!

    About a week ago, some images on my blog stopped rendering properly. The images are (mostly) in tiled/mosaic galleries within blog posts.

    I’m running the latest version of WordPress (4.9.8–en_GB) and Jetpack (which I installed so I could display images in a mosaic/tiled gallery).

    I’ve disabled Jetpack, and the problem is resolved, but then the images don’t display in a tiled gallery, but are just small images side-by-side (which looks rubbish!).

    I’ve also tried using another theme. Some themes result in more images being successfully displayed, but still not all.

    It’s the same images that fail to load each time.

    I read that Jetpack recently stopped supporting tiled galleries as it was available as standard in WordPress – but that doesn’t work either!

    Any pointers as to what the problem might be would be very much appreciated.

  • I would re-upload the images. They may have become corrupt.

    I’ve tried that – some of the new ones don’t render either ??

    Any other things I could try?

    Just in case any accesses this post with a similar question – here’s how I solved it:

    1. Deactivated Jetpack
    2. Installed the plugin “Tiled Gallery without Jetpack”

    This plugin just gives the functionality of the tiled gallery, without all the other Jetpack code. So if you’re not using the other stuff, this might work.
