On the square tiled gallery on this page there are a couple of images which do not load.

One example is the image which gets parsed as:

    https://i2.wp.com/katecraigbrown.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/pre-wedding-photography-queenstown-newzealand.jpg?w=296&h=296&crop=1&ssl=1

and loads the following error message if you attempt to access it directly:

Sorry, the parameters you provided were not valid

    The image works fine locally:

    https://katecraigbrown.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/pre-wedding-photography-queenstown-newzealand.jpg?w=296&h=296&crop=1&ssl=1

But there doesn’t seem to be a way to get it loaded within the tiled galleries. We have tried disconnecting/re-connecting/disabling/re-activating Jetpack and still the same issues persists on the same images.

Have also tried various combinations of activating and disabling Photon, Asset CDN, and tiled galleries but still the problem remains and there doesn’t seem to be a way to force it to even attempt to re-pull the image?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Let’s try to rule out a time-out first: I see the original image you linked above is about 3.6MB big, and the other one that’s not loading is 2MB. While not huge, those are quite big for the web, and if you were uploading all the images at once it’s possible these two may have timed out while your server were uploading them to the CDN.

    See the last point here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/#limitations

Please try renaming the original files on your computer and resizing the images so the file size is a bit smaller. Then replace the existing broken images in the gallery with the new images and see if that makes any difference.

Let me know if that does not help.

Resized and optimised many of the images both locally and on the server. This appears to have fixed the missing image issues.

At the same time I also had to convert all of the images to sRGB because the colour was being washed out in JetPacks compression. Is there any way to flush the CDN for old versions of the image?

As a workaround I have resized the images by a couple pixels so they are created anew, but if I want to keep them at the original size, they use the old version with the washed out colour, even in a browser with clear cache.

We can do that, yes, but we need the exact Photon URL of the file. These will begin with i0.wp.com, i1.wp.com, or i2.wp.com.

If this affects a large number of images it might be better to re-upload the images with new file names instead, especially as the CDN caches multiple versions of the image at different sizes, so you’d need the URL for each version for us to manually remove them all from our end.
