    hey there –

I’ve run through the compression (and made sure that the option about Automatic removal of files in output formats larger than original is unchecked), and some images on my homepage are still jpg. I’ve checked their source location and they’re located in the uploads folder. I know it’s working for some other images – as seen on this page: https://womensquest.com/womens-adventure-retreats/hawaii/

    Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    6. Enable debugging to the file and check if any errors are generated in the debug.log file when the works. Provide their content.

    7. Do you use any plugin filters or actions from this FAQ? If so, list them all.

Sorry I don’t see the plugin filters listed?

    8. What plugin version are you using? If it is not the latest then update and check everything again.

    4.2.4

    9. A list of all the plugins you use. Have you tried checking the plugin operation by turning off all others and activating the default theme? If not, please try whenever possible. This is very important because other plugins or themes can cause problems. Therefore, we recommend disabling all necessary plugins and enabling the default theme.

This is for a client so I can’t deactivate plugins or go with a default theme. If you know if one of the plugins above is incompatible, please let me know!

    Hello @laurana88,

    Thanks for your message.

From what I can see you are using CDN Imperva. Can you purge CDN cache? This should help.

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hey there,

I’m looking into this as I didn’t realize (and neither did the client) that there was a CDN in place. Hoping to track this down and try it out! Stay tuned!

@laurana88 I checked on your website and I can see that images that were not available in WebP before are now. Can you confirm that the problem is solved?

Did you manage to do something about it and clean the cache itself after a few hours?

    Hey Mateusz,

I’m seeing more in the webp file format. But there’s still some like the surfing one on the homepage that is still showing as jpg:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/svpn91qthzrsxxx/newdevtools.png?dl=0

    Ideas?

Also – I’ve noticed that some links to the full size image are now broken. There’s supposed to be a background image on this page:
    https://womensquest.com/2020/06/09/jillandcolleen/

(Like you see on the one below: https://womensquest.com/2021/08/04/3-ways-to-reset-your-energy/)

    Any ideas why?

@laurana88 Did you locate the Purge Cache option for CDN?

    Thread Starter laurana88

    (@laurana88)

I unfortunately have not as the client has no idea where that’s coming or a login for it. I’m trying to reach out to the host to see if it’s part of their services.

@laurana88 From what I can see, everything on your website is working properly:
    https://i.imgur.com/kwNdIwA.png

The images that are not displayed as WebP are not loaded directly from the /uploads directory, but from the directory:
    /wq/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/surfing.jpg

Can you confirm that the cache is cleared and everything is working as it should?

Thanks so much for your help. I’m still trying to sort out that whole issue, but that’s not related to the plugin. The plugin seems to be working great!

We can mark this as resolved!
