• So, this is a really weird problem and I think it has been ongoing for about a week now. Nothing has changed that I am aware of. However, I spoke with HostGator to make sure it wasn’t a problem on their end and they blamed the theme. I changed the theme and the problem persists.

Here is what is happening. When, I publish a new post, it generally has 5-8 pictures. One or two picture per post is broken. Can’t go to the link and can’t see the picture. If I wait 3-4 minutes, the problem will correct itself and the picture will work perfectly.

I’ve also noticed that the new post/page editor platform is slightly slow too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the plugins and such I am using.

    301 Redirects Version 2.40
    Akismet Anti-Spam Version 4.1.3
    Blogger 301 Redirect Version 2.5.3
    Classic Editor Verson 1.5
    Contact Form Maker Version 1.13.21
    Custom Permalinks Version 1.5.1
    Jetpack Version 8.0
    Quick AdSense Version 1.9.2
    Simple Author Box Version 2.3.5
    Simple IB Ban Version 1.3.0
    Super Socializer Version 7.12.37
    WP Super Cache Version 1.7.0
XML Site Map & Google News Version 5.2.7
    WordPress Version 5.3
    Theme – Arcade Basic

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

  • you can access the link, but probably the image is on a non-existent path.
Can you share broken image paths?
what should be the right path?
    clear your CDN cache,
    ? plugin, browser.

Thanks for the response. When I first publish the post, the images are broken and the links do not work either. Says something like the parameters were invalid. Strangely enough, everything sorts itself out after 4-5- minutes.

The path is correct since it doesn’t change and works a few minutes later. Will try clearing the CDN cache as soon as I get back from the store! Thanks again.

if the cache is not your problem, it is not possible to offer support if you do not know how to paste a broken image link on the forum. (just click on the gray minitura and it tells you the path or with the mouse you pass over the broken image and copy the path)

The problem is that the link is no longer broken. It only remains broke for 4 minutes or so. The picture also works 100% perfectly when WordPress sends an email to my subscribers. So strange.

This was the image that wasn’t working though: https://i0.wp.com/reelmockery.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/rose-cheat-finale-recap.png

And it was posted on this post: https://reelmockery.com/cheat-finale-recap/

Who doesn’t know how to paste a broken image link btw?

If the image takes more than 10 seconds to load to the jetpack server, it may look like an interrupted image.

open a new topic, to see if the problem is in their part because they have tools to check the time when the file was created.
That’s why I asked the path of your interrupted image, otherwise if you don’t know the origin you can’t look for the cause.

Clearing cache did not seem to change anything. I am starting to think it might have something to do with Jetpack’s performance settings. I could be wrong. It is like some of the images are taking 4-5 minutes longer to upload or something.

HostGator said it wasn’t an issue on their end and suggested the theme was the problem. Of course, I’ve changed the theme and that hasn’t fixed anything either. lol

Any suggestions would be appreciated and I sincerely appreciate your help!

@autotutorial thanks man. I’ve done as you said. Will update this if anything changes. I am sure I won’t be the only one with this issue.
