Some hyperlinks working, then not. Inconsistent error.

    Hi, there,

    In the last week or so, I’ve been experiencing an issue with hyperlinks in blog posts. Links that worked in the past are now unclickable; some links will become clickable, then go back to unclickable five minutes later (WITHOUT me changing anything or reloading the page). When a whole sentence is used as a link, only one word will be clickable. To see what I mean, please visit this page:

    Any ideas what could be causing this? I recently changed a couple of links in the right sidebar (edited the link text and made the page it linked to private, so all you get is a ‘Page not found’ error), but I can’t see how that would affect the blog hyperlinks.

    You have a transparent facebook block covering part of your content which prevents links (on the left side) working.
    <html lang="en" class="" id="facebook">.........
    Use a browser inspection tool and you’ll see what it is, or try deactivating whatever fb plug ins you have.

    THANK YOU! I deactivated one of the FB plug-ins and now everything is back to normal.

    No idea why it became an issue all of a sudden, but thanks for your help :D.

    With so many different plug ins, themes and WP versions in play, it’s hard to say what the root cause is. You should report it to the plug in developer though so they are aware of it.
