Some help with custom taxonomies

  • I’m currently working on a plugin with a custom post type and several custom taxonomies to go with it, but I have a small issue with one of them.

    I’m working on an events plugin. Each event is it’s own post (in the custom post type). So I made a custom taxonomy (okay, maybe it’s not technically a taxonomy) for locations. I want the user to be able assign only one location (duh!) to each event, and I want locations to be added only through the “Add New Location” interface, not the posting page.

    Is there any way to accomplish this?
