aaah i see. can it not be done with the standard wordpress. just the reason i ask is because i want to use a vbulletin hack so i can bridge/sync the users but it only works with the standard wordpress not wordpress mu?

it has its own blog directory and all.

tbh its not the blog side of things im after although would be a bonus. but what im after is a way of letting my members on my site use subfolders/or/subdomains so they can setup their own webpages. They dont need much space/bandwidth as theyll just be pages for information really, basically just pages that act like dj profile/mini website

i would like them to be either like this for example

i was thinking of using wordpress becauase theres a vbulletin hack that can be used with it so i could snyc/bridge users which saves having to register for different accounts. thoug i not long ago noticed that the vbulletin wordpress hack works with the standard wordpress only and doesnt work with wordpress mu which is a bit of a wonder because i could have shared the usergroups. still having what im after to work as a stand alone software might do the trick. i dont know, maybe theres a better script that is better designed/developed better for what i want it to do? just that wordpress is the only one that looks promosing so far though
