• This plugin does allow you to have complete control over your custom post types.

HOWEVER, it is for expert developers only. They make it sound like some simple drag and drop solution and it is far from that easy.

Im a developer and it took me days to figure out simple tasks like an image gallery.

Their support is helpful, but they don’t always understand you issues.

The work flow of this plugin is just plain awful.

Their docs and tutorials are outdated and that makes it very difficult to even do simple tasks.

I would advise anyone to avoid this plugin, especially since its a paid solution.

This plugin needs completely overhauled before they can charge for it.

    Thank you for the feedback.

We are in constant development for improvements.

Toolset Types is a free plugin, as you can see it’s here on WordPress.

That will stay so until the end of year, then it will be removed and only available if Toolset (as a whole) is purchased.

This is mainly about new Many To Many relationships, where the new developments will not be included the free version.

But here in this Forum we cannot discuss issues that are not of Types, and galleries or similar things are created with Views – it would be something we. can discuss here.

I agree that you need a degree of knowledge on WordPress and Toolset has a learning curve per se.
But you do not require to be an experienced developer to use either Toolset Types or the whole Toolset package.
In fact we develop this plugin so it is not necessary to code anymore.

We are constantly improving the plugin – if you have any suggestions please can you contact me, or my colleagues, via our Forums (https://wp-types.com/forums/) so we could see if we can add or change things?

User feedback is the only feedback and we value your feedback.
Eventually you can also link me to threads already existing, so I can see what to do?
