And they won’t upload either. Even with the names changed.

after migration password should be same a previous, but you may need to reassign category to files.

Well they SHOULD be the same, but they aren’t. They disappeared. I reassigned the categories but the ones that would not migrate are not visible. And they will not re-upload. Nor will any other file upload. eg not very big pdf, less than 1mb
So in fact I’ve had to revert, as the missing files need to be on site. The previous version behaves perfectly.

Well if I can face the struggle of updating it again…

I’m still trying it on localhost. Another problem is the css which makes everything too big. I spent a day trying to work out what was controlling what but it’s very difficult as it is not at all straightforward. Careful styling on a page of file downloads that incorporated images has gone bad. But I can’t link to it as it is on localhost.

Some control over the styling would be good. eg a custom styles option in the settings where you could enter your own css, as in some other plugins.

you can disable download manager css from settings page, but in that case, you may need to add custom style for short-codes.

The settings page as I see it (basic), has sections entitled: Messages, Server File Browser, File Download and Misc Settings (which has Twitter Bootstrap and nothing else). No sign of anything related to css

    twitter bootstrap is the css.
