I’ve use MLA for mapping the IPTC and Exif-Data.

After updating to MLA 2.4.1 some parts of the Exif-Data was not imported.
In my case i use following mapping:
    template:([+iptc:2#120+]<BR />)(Verschlusszeit: [+exif:ExposureTime+] \| Blende: [+exif:COMPUTED.ApertureFNumber+] \| ISO: [+exif:ISOSpeedRatings+]<BR />)(Kamera: [+exif:Make+] [+exif:Model+] \| [+exif:CAMERA.LensModel+] \| Brennweite ?q. KB: [+exif:FocalLengthIn35mmFilm+]mm<BR />)(Entwickelt mit [+exif:Software+]<BR/>)([+iptc:2#116+]| ? 2017)
    the second row ((Kamera: [+exif:Make+] [+exif:Model+] \| [+exif:CAMERA.LensModel+] \| Brennweite ?q. KB: [+exif:FocalLengthIn35mmFilm+]mm) was not mapped / imported.

With MLA 2.4.0 I don’t have these issue.

    Regards Birger

Thank you for your report; I regret the issue you are having with the EXIF mapping.

I have reproduced the problem on my test system and I believe it is caused by a defect introduced in the MLA 2.41 version. I will correct the problem and post an update here when I have a fix. In the interim, you should be able to stay with the 2.40 version without any ill effects.

Thanks for your patience while I work to resolve this issue.

I have found and fixed an issue in the MLA v2.41 release that failed to compute the enhanced CAMERA (and GPS) values. I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20170114 that corrects the problem. To get the Development Version, follow the instructions in this earlier topic:

Shortcode not working in (special) widget

It would be great if you could install the Development Version and let me know if it works for you. Thanks again for your report and for your interest in the plugin.

    Hello David,

thank you for your fast reply and very fast fix.
The SVN 20170114 works fine and fix the problem.

    Thank you!
    Kind regards Birger

    Hi,
I still have a similar problem, even using the development version, with my map field for source-camera.
    Thanks for the plugin!

Thanks for the good words and for your report. As far as I know the Development Version fixed the original problem, but metadata issues are often image/file specific. Could you post a link to one or more of your images so I can see what metadata they contain? Could you post the details of the mapping rule you are using? Any additional information or examples you can provide would be helpful.

What version of image processing software do you use. I’ve know that a old Version from Lightroom have some issues with that.

i have the same problem, version 2.50 but it is a bit more strange, my nikon d5 and d810 files proceed with adobe cc works fine but if try to do the same from my sony it dosent work specialy only for this paramter [+exif:Model+]…. any idea?

    @lriese

If you can post a link to one or more of your “sony” image files I would be happy to look at the metadata it contains and see if I can help. Posting one of your “Nikon” files as a comparison would also be helpful.

can you provide me a solution to send the files instead of links?! I have found another issue with the exif date and categories! from this i van then as well send some print screens! is it possible like this?
