    Hello,

I install your plugin and get some errors when I activate :

Notice: Undefined variable: skype_mu_dir in /xxx/xxx/xxx/htdocs/xxx/wp-content/plugins/skype-online-status/skype-status.php on line 42

Notice: Undefined variable: skype_mu_dir in /xxx/xxx/xxx/htdocs/xxx/wp-content/plugins/skype-online-status/skype-status.php on line 43

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /xxx/xxx/xxx/htdocs/xxx/wp-content/plugins/skype-online-status/skype-status.php:42) in /xxx/xxx/xxx/htdocs/xxx/wp-content/plugins/private-content/private_content.php on line 30

If I deactivate the PrivateContent Plugin, just the first 2 errors remain.

You have a idea what is the problem? For PrivateContent I also ask support there.

    Thank you
    Peter

  • Hi, Do you see these messages in you browser or when you look inside the server log files? If the first option, then your first priority will be to disable PHP making these messages public.

About the first two: these are not errors but notices. However, they should be gone in the next release.

About the last one: I think this is related to the fact that PHP blurts out these notices to the browser instead of putting them in a log file where they belong… Please be aware that making PHP messages publicly readable is a security risk. So again, adjust your servers PHP settings to NOT do that. And you might also want to turn of notices and only leave true errors when you are in there…

If you have no idea how to do that, then ask your server admin or hosting provider.
