• Hey,

lately I noticed that some emails look completely different from others in terms of design.
For example the order confirmation. Sometimes it is displayed correctly (as I designed it in the editor) and the next email looks different (color in the header is missing, social icons are missing… table looks different)

    What can go wrong here?

    Many greetings
    Robert

    Hey Robert,
Is it specific email types that are displaying differently is or is it random? Have you cleared your cache?

    Hey Hannah,

its the order confirmation mail to the customer and to us.
    Cache is cleared..

The error is totally random. For example, 5 orders come in, 3 emails are correct. 2 are wrong.

Strange… are you using any WooCommerce extensions that may be overriding?

    Hey,

of course we have a lot of plugins. But we have had them for a long time – as long as the great Email Design Plugin here. But at some point this error simply occurred.

I have two screenshots as an example:
Order from Yesterday, 20:36 (Wrong Format)

    Order from Yesterday, 20:40

Its strange.. But its there ??

So sorry for the delay! I can’t tell why this would be happening. I’ll pass this onto the developer to see if he has any insight.
    Thanks for your patience!

    Best,
    Hannah

    Hey,
I don’t have a good guess. I’ve not seen this, I use the plugin on my own site and don’t see this.

So if I have to guess it’s possible your server is running out of memory while trying to send the email, or there is a conflicting plugin or your email SMTP is in some way stripping the emails.

You would need to view the PHP error logs to determine if anything is being logged at the time the email is sending that is where I would start in attempting to troublshoot.

    Ben
