    Hello,

unfortunately we are missing some ecommerce data in google analytics.
Only about half of the transactions are recorded.
For the transactions that are missing, we also don’t see page views in analytics. Is it possible that the tracking code isn’t fired for some users?
What could be done to record all/more transactions?

I granted you acces for analytics2(at)tatvic(dot)com.

    Thanks,

    samuraischwert

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

We did a quick look of your store & found that our plugin is working well on your store. We did one dummy transaction with the “Bank Transfer” method which is recorded successfully.

We would like to learn from you if Autoreturn for Paypal is configured?

    • If a user completes the transaction via a 3rd party payment gateway and is not redirected back to your store’s thank you page, our plugin will not be able to send the transaction data.
    • Here’s a PayPal documentation & WooCommerce documentation for reference on understanding & setting up Auto Return.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hello,

thanks for looking at our page.
I will recheck our autoreturn settings in paypal.

The problem is that the missing ecommerce data is both from paypal and bank transfer payed orders so it cannot only be the autreturn.

Could it be possible that customers leave the order-received page so fast that no analytics code is fired?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Hi,

Yes, it is one of the reasons for the missing transactions. The other reasons are also mentioned in the FAQs of our plugin (screenshot).

GA is a trend analysis tool, and as such cannot be expected to be 100% accurate.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks & Regards,
