Check the Google Calendar ID (edit feed).
I removed the full url and just used the ID. (We’re using Google Apps for Business so I’m not sure if it’s the same for public accounts)

Thanks for looking pawswebmaster, but yeah.. first thing I checked. The Calendar ID is correct in my settings.

I’ve updated the plugin on a couple of other sites now and had the same problem – I even created a new Google API Key just to make sure!

Fixed! Copying a note from Phil in one of the other threads. For some reason, the site that was having an issue was still trying to pull from XML, not the Calendar ID. I went into the feed, replaced the XML link with the Calendar ID, and it worked like a charm.

Calendar ID — The update process was supposed to change this for you, but check that your feeds are in fact using the new ID format and NOT the old XML feed URL format.

No events to display.”

I created my own API-key and checked the Google Agenda-settings to find the new (!!!) agenda-ID

I was getting this error as well. I was running the 0.7.3 version & upgraded to 2.1 b/c I thought it would fix. It did not. I reentered my feed address which cleared a 403 error. But not the parsing error. I tried checking the “use the simple display options” setting on the feed — didn’t help either. Finally I pasted the customized code I had set in the old version of the code for the list events to display & it worked. Granted it still is not displaying all day events.

But try editing the code that displays the feed.

Yes I can get mine to work now if I use the simple display options. but It doesn’t like the vent code stuff.

Just to clarify again… I have used the Calendar ID, I’ve tried new feeds, editing old feeds, creating new API keys, simple display, custom display… all I get is the error message, either “No events to display” or the parsing error.

Also to confirm, the calendar is set to public.

I’ve also just made sure it was a completely fresh API by creating a new project and API under a second account (just in case). Still no dice!

I manually cleared the cache of each feed. When I view it in IE and Chrome, it disappeared but it’s still showing in FF. I cleared my cache in FF but it still shows when I am logged in but not when I log out. I’m assuming it’s just a caching issue though.

THanks for pointing that out for others. We do have upgrade code for it in place, but in some cases it might not be accurate so that is always a great place to start at first.

What are you settings for “Minimum Feed Start Date” and “Maximum Feed Start Date”?

The example feed above is set to:

Minimum start: 1 month back
Maximum end: 2 years forward

Hope you have a potential fix – this plugin is so useful and great up til now I’d have happily paid for it. I use it on quite a lot of sites and the only one that seems to be working is the first one I updated!

I have tried clearing the cache. It’s odd because the only time I am having the message is when I am logged in to WordPress. When I view it otherwise, the message disappears.

@nick Young – yes, I specifically indicated in my post that

My calendar is on a standard free Google account; my calendar id shows as my email address.

So my calendar id shows up in this format: [email protected] – and not like in the example shows from the link you gave.
