    I have 3 posts in a custom post type (events) where I have enabled Pie Calendar for the posts, but the posts aren’t showing on the calendar. I have 9 posts in the same CPT where the posts are showing on the calendar as expected. I’m using this shortcode [piecal type=”events” view=”dayGridMonth”] to display the calendar on this page: https://paintedwoodsgolf.com/events/. The 3 missing posts should be showing on June 3rd, 8th, and 15th. This image shows how Pie Calendar is configured for the June 3rd post: https://taricco.d.pr/i/Rma2VJ. The other two posts are configured the exact same way except for the date.

    Hey again Tim,

    First of all, I want to say how cool it is to see you using Pie Calendar in production like this. It’s exactly what we intended for when we created it.

    Secondly, sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Can you double check the posts with the dates not appearing are set to “published” and are not password protected? That’s the first thing that comes to mind.

    A screenshot of the entire backend of one of the events not appearing would be super helpful.

    Hey Tim,

    Thanks for your patience while we looked into this. We dug pretty deep on the staging site to verify everything looks correct on the back-end for the posts that aren’t showing up. Everything looks fine – the posts appear to be publicly queryable, are published, have the proper post meta set to be able to show on the calendar.

    Unfortunately, when we reproduced the query Pie Calendar uses to fetch posts for the calendar, those posts just aren’t returned by WordPress for some reason. Given the number of plugins on the site, we suspect that some setting on those specific posts is causing them not to be queryable, but we weren’t able to pin it down exactly.

    We did, however, test a brand new “Events” post with the same exact date/time/expiration settings as one of the posts that’s not showing up, and the new post worked fine. Given that information, the best route is to re-create the posts that aren’t appearing.

    If you do that and are still having trouble, please let us know and we’ll do our best to get to the bottom of this.
