some books do not show up in search results

  • I have published multiple Ukrainian books, but not all of them are showing up when I filter on the language (Yкра?нський), but some do, so it’s not consistent

    Oddly enough the books that do not show up when filtering on language, DO show up when I search for title + language.

    2 Examples:

    full text search: Пригоди морсько? Анемони
    + language dropdown: Yкра?нський

    full text search: Хтось, як я
    + language dropdown: Yкра?нський

    these books are not shown when only filtering on the language

    Maybe it is because the option “pagination” was free, but now it is not anymore.
    I guess the search results are still cut off at a certain point, so that would be the reason I can’t see the expected books.

    Thank you for using this plugin.
    We do not have combined search feature yet. So we guess the issue is due to this problem.

    I don’t think you are right.
    the search function works with the combination “free text search (title)” + one dropdown.
    Filtering with a combination of 2 dropdowns or more is the part that does not work. (as I reported earlier)

    I now see that when I load the page and I am not filtering, not all of my books are displayed anymore. This is due to the fact that the pagination is turned off (payed feature), and users can only see the first ‘page’.

    I get it that you want people to move to the paid plans, but making the pagination “feature” paid does not really make sense if users put up more books that one page.
