Some advice about theme and plugins?

  • Could somebody help me finding a CMS to fit my purpose.
    It should be made to look something like this:

    Social sharing or guest interaction
    Lightbox

    Wanted:
    Show exif & meta data
    Add text under – or at the side of each big picture, under albums and thumbnails.
    Needless to say that I also must be able to scroll big pictures.
    To surf through recent pics

    Would be nice to have:
    Some symbol to show an album, so that I don’t have to write “Album” each time
    Be able to colour to some text
    Put a watermark on to each picture automatically

    For now I have this page https://soejberg.com/ but it is not functioning properly.

    I am trying out WP on a virtual server, XAMPP

    I would very much appreciate if somebody have a suggestion.

  • There are hundreds of Portfolio Themes available that have a similar layout that you could try out for yourself.

    Each theme offers a varied range of features, nobody knows the features of every theme so the best thing for you to do is to simply install them using the admin interface and try them out.

    You can use themes that make use Post Formats to separate posts, images etc..

    Be able to colour to some text

    You can just use the text editor to add color to your text.

    Put a watermark on to each picture automatically

    You will need a gallery plugin to handle this.

    The reason why I asked for advice is that I had hoped somebody would know of themes and plugins that can do what I need.
    Now I have been through a small amount of the tens of thousands of themes and plugins, and when I ignore all the “item no longer available”, “page not found”, “error 404 not found” and blank pages, I found a small amount of themes and gallery plugins which I tried out.
    I need to create albums, sub- and sub-sub-albums, add photos to the albums, move photos from one album to another, edit titles and description, and no masonry style or lightbox.
    I found none of these features so far, but I shall go on trying.
    Please, help me. My website has been malfunktioning since spring, and most of my visitors have given up on me.
