    Hi,

I have the strangest issue. Some ads are showing and others are not. But not for everyone: I can see them all!

On my website https://www.elektroretailmagazine.nl in the right sidebar I have several ad positions. The groups have different names like ‘banners rechterkolom’, ‘banners rechterkolom 2’ and ‘banners rechterkolom 3’.

Now everyone can see 1 ad in ‘banners rechterkolom’ (it should rotate 2 ads, but okay, I’m happy it’s showing 1…). And when I open the webpage I can also see the ads in ‘banners rechterkolom 2’ and ‘banners rechterkolom 3’ but

      nobody else can

    !

Could you take a look and see what’s going on?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi timdevogel,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I can reproduce your issue and guess that the Hummingbird Performance plugin that caches your website cause it. Can you please disable the caching to test if the rotation works as intended without it?

If the caching is the reason for this issue, you would need to activate the cache busting feature of Advanced Ads Pro to realize ad rotations and to use visitor conditions on your cached website. You can find more information about the relation between caching and ads in this post.

I am curious about your feedback if the rotation works without caching. Please, also notify me if disabling the caching doesn’t make any changes.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi Joachim,

I disabled Hummingbird and, indeed, all is well! And the rotation also works now. Thanks!
Guess we’ll soon have to switch to Advanced Ads Pro to activate the cache busting feature…

By the way, thanks for the very quick response!

    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hi timdevogel,

Thanks a lot for your reply and great to hear that the caching plugin was the issue.

If you enjoy the Advanced Ads support so far, I would appreciate a positive review here.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
