    Hi,
    I love your simple chat plugin. But I would like to have some additional features with this great and simple plugin.
    1. Emoticon capabilities.
    2. Separate private 1 on 1 chat with users on side screen.
    3. Auto clear messages capability on 1 on 1 chat when the user closes the chat.
    4. Long messages don’t get wrapped within the chat box and you have to scroll horizontally to view full message.
    5. And when users click on their user name it goes directly to their author profile. I want it to go to mywebsite.com/user/username. is there a way to do that.

    Thank you for the features. I think I will consider them all and finally – implement. Please follow future versions of the plugin.

    As for the horizontal scrolling – what kind of web browser are you using? I cannot reproduce this issue. It would be great if you sent me a link where I can test it.

    Version 1.4.0 includes two features: emoticons and control over links under user names.

    I will consider 1 on 1 chats in future releases. It is a good idea, thank you.

    Link User Name Template “The template of the URL used to construct a link from user name. You can use the following variables: id, username. Example: https://my.website.com/users/{username}/profile”

    this doesn’t seem to be working for BuddyPress profiles. BuddyPress uses %username%

    Hi,

    {username} phrase will be substituted by user’s name during rendering process. I think the following template will be sufficient for BuddyPress profiles:

    https://buddypress.org/members/{username}/
