I discovered that some entries in the “pmpro_memberships_users” table were showing “0000-00-00 00:00:00” in the “enddate” column. About 20 entries. All were showing “active” status in the table as well as “success” in the plugin admin interface for orders, but this was past the end of their plan. I had to manually cancel them all. Any idea what causes that and how do I prevent it since it seems to mean that someone can have an account that never expires?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lethalmiko

Thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro, we set the expiration date to “0000-00-00 00:00:00” if the membership does not have an expiration date.

This often means the membership has a recurring payment aspect and is set inside the membership level settings of each level.

Please can you confirm if your level settings doesn’t have the “Membership Expiration” option set – if you would like to enable expirations you may enable this option.

For interest sake, here’s an article that explains why we don’t recommend using an expiration date with recurring memberships – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/important-notes-on-recurring-billing-and-expiration-dates-for-membership-levels/

I hope this helps clear things up.
