I wanted to have a floating image linking to a site directory. The best plugin I could find to do this was “Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll”. But “anything was not true. The only element that worked for me was “table”. I installed various tables in different ways but even the best simply didn’t work for my PWA on mobile devices. After days of trying I discovered that Tablepress did the job.
BUT I couldn’t get the link to work with the wizard.
What to do?-what to do?. The solutions offered on this forum didn’t work for me. SO I searched the web for various table/image/link html schemes and found one that worked fine. I went to my Tablepress installation and deleted the “Content” for the cell (a 1×1 table) and pasted the html I found. VIOLA! all is well. Sheesh altogether a weeks work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I assume that you are referring to that “Directory” button? Good to hear that you found a solution ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

Thank you Tobias for building a great plugin. You and others are what make weblife livable. I can barely understand html (CSS is totally beyond me) and without your kind of help (and of course WordPress) I’d be unable to create even the simplest site.
The millions of volunteers (I use Linux Mint) are keeping the web a pleasure for regular people.
