solution or plugin to add more photos to a gallery than to the correspondingpost

    I’m searching for something probably quite simple:

    When I add images to a post they are all organised in one gallery assigned to that post. But I don’t want to show more pictures in the gallery than shown within the post.

    But I can’t find a simple solution.

    Example:

    Within the post “Fruits in the Shop” I like to show three pictures:
    Apples.jpg, Bsnanas,jpg and Strawberries.jpg.
    These Images are automatically shown within the gallery for the post, meaning they can be browsed through by the Lightbox Plugin for example.

    But now I want to add the photos
    Pineapple.jpg and Watermelons.jpg
    to the gallery without them being present or visible within the article.

    Sorry if I’m missing something very basic here – but I just can’t figure it out!

    I know there’s plugins like Nextgen Gallery or Zenphoto but these seem to me to be completely overdone for this little task …

    Any ideas?
