• Hi there!

    https://www.tcia.nl

This is my site, which I am building. I have a navigation bar, which fits, but when I click on either ‘Links to research projects’ or ‘Student (research) activities’ these buttons ofcourse become bold, making the text on the navigation bar a little too wide to fit on 1 line, making two of them. Does somebody know a good solution to this problem, where I do not have to delete pages or text in the title, but still be able to have the complete navigation bar on 1 line?

    Thanks!

To do this with a custom theme you would Edit the theme’s stylesheet to make the font-size smaller on the menu and/or reduce the values for padding-left & padding-right.

As you are using the default twenty eleventheme, you should not edit the css as updating the theme will lose the changes, in this case you would create a child theme to modify the output.

I am using a child theme?, if I am correct?

But thanks for your tips, I am going to look if I am able to change these values.

Ha! so you are – I was on the iPad earlier so didn’t see that you had a child theme already as ‘view source’ is a bit tricky

It looks like you have fixed the menu now.

    Yes! That worked wonderfully! Thanks!
