Solution For Instant Payments

Payments has never been apart of pro. This has always been part of wc vendors. However since PayPal has depreciated the system I decided to remove it. You can still get instant payments using our Stripe Connect gateway which is compatible with free and pro.

I am working on a new version of wc vendors before I get to work on writing new payment gateways. Paypal currently doesn’t have an instant payment replacement. They do have Braintree and you can apply for PayPal Marketplace. Both of which are difficult to apply for and require a lot of work. This is why I decided not to create extensions for these solutions at this time.

There will be a scheduled payment solution for Paypal available early next year.

Hey Jamie, sorry for hijacking this thread – but Paypal instant payments (or Chained Payments, in my case) as vital for a lot of your current users (it’s only depreciated for new signups), so please don’t remove it.

Also, how about https://www.braintreepayments.com/en-dk/products/braintree-marketplace – there’s a real need for a current marketplace system that allows instant payments and plugs into the omnipresent Paypal system. Fingers crossed you can get something like that working?
