Solid plugin; fast support

I was honestly a little irritated at first that I had to confirm I wanted to do a few things, but that just meant Wordfence was doing its job and keeping my WordPress site secure. There is MUCH to this plugin, even in the free version, and I’m grateful to have it. As my site in development is launched and traffic/visibility increase, I will definitely upgrade to the paid version.

I had a small problem with Twitter/Tumblr widgets not updating when the plugin was active. It was easily resolved by temporarily renaming the plugin directory (and not actually deactivating), updating widgets, then renaming again, but I asked on the WP Forum for a fix because it was an irritant (and I like everything to work!). The developer responded within 24 hours on a weekend. While my problem wasn’t urgent, it’s nice to know the developer is working weekends, when security issues often arrive, and takes business seriously.
