There tends to be so much link content on the right two columns of the page that I’m concerned the visual usability of the site is not good. I’d like to do things I have seen in other themes, but I liked this theme for it’s general simplicity and prefessionalism. (my perception). The problem is I may have loaded too much content into the sidebars.

I’d like opinions on how this might be modified to make a cleaner look. (reduce number of posts, shorten posts to include a “more” tag, move sidebars, whatever.)

    Set-up is as follows:
    left column – post content
middle column – internal links (archives, most recent…)
right column – external links (blogroll, vendors)

I have tested on FF and IE only.

    Thanks in advance!!!

  • what about removing the right column – external links (blogroll, vendors) and make a link Page out of it?

I’d change the background for the outer column to be the same as
the dark blue of your header, that way the visual impact will be
dynamic, and allow your content to shine through.

But hey, that’s just my perception ??

    Thanks:

Tiki: I’ve been thinking about removing the right column. I need to perhaps find the right theme for it.

Katie: I did change the right (outer) to the same dark blue. Personally, I’m not into it, but I’m still tweaking the font color. I also lightened the background color for the post area (left column)
