    Hi,

Great plugin! I noticed in the latest and previous versions there is a check box for Sold on the car listing page, what does this do? I had hoped it would allow for a sold sign over the listing image or something similar but I can’t see anything to indicate that its sold in comparison to a non sold listing.

Also, trying to figure out the structure of the database regarding the car makes and models. I like that you can add custom things but I don’t really want to have to sit and add every single individual car make and model. I can see wp_terms and wp_term_relationships seem to hold all make/model and specifications entered in the DB. I have a CSV file with some models and makes i’d like to implement but need some advice on how to do this with the database structure if possible.

    Kind regards

    Hey,

The sold checkbox currently only has a backend function so you can indicate what vehicles are sold for internal use. In a future version we’ll be adding something like a ‘sold’ banner over images indeed.

The Makes and Models are WordPress taxonomies. I can’t do the actual importing for you but perhaps there are CSV to taxonomy importers available. We’ll be working on an extension that will bulk add models and makes in the future as well.

I hope this answers your questions.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks for your prompt replies on my earlier posts, Looking forward to the next release! ??

My workaround idea for adding a sold sign on the front end was the ability to add a new photo which has a sold sign on it. (The users won’t be accessing the wordpress admin side)

However the images are brought in and displayed at the end of the gallery and not at the start.

Is there any code that could be added to re-order the displayed images? Ideally it would be great to have a drag and drop functionality but I realise this is a lot of work – is there anyway to simply state that the shown images be in order of ‘newness’ ?

    Hopefully that makes sense!

    Hey,

If you manage your cars via the backend, the order of the images should be changeable via drag-and-drop. The first image (thumbnail) that is displayed is the featured image when you edit the car in the backend.

Please let me know if this fixed the issue for you.

    Cheers,
    Barry
