Sold out products still appearing in shops & dynamic ads+prices not updated

    Hello, i’ve been using the plugin Facebook for Woocommerce for around 5 months.

    Recently we realized that many sold out products which have an inventory level of 0 on Woocommerce are still appearing to customers on both Instagram and Facebook shops and on the catalog dynamic ads.

    Moreover, prices are not being updated in which prices on the shops and on the dynamic ads are Being different than the actual ones on the website.

    P.S: i have contacted Facebook support 3 times concerning the issue, they investigated and replied that i should contact the plugin developer to fix the errors im facing

    As a first step, please share with us the site’s site’s System Status Report: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

    It would be great if you please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if any).

    I am inspecting the site’s System Status Report (SSR) and it appears that the Facebook for WooCommerce: by Facebook – 3.0.4 plugin version is outdated.

    Kindly update to the latest, version 3.0.6, directly linked here.

    With version 3.0.6 of the plugin installed, the new debug tools are enabled. Feel free to use the Reset all products option and see if the issue persists.

    After making sure that the latest update of the plugin was installed on my website and after running a manual sync again.

    Unfortunately, the problem is still occurring and its affecting my business negatively. Sold out products are still appearing more and more on the dynamic ads and in Meta shops which is making customers angry when they see a product and click on it and its out of stock.

    According to this thread, disabling the out-of-stock hiding option in the product and WooCommerce setting solved the problem.

    Please try their suggestion, here’s where you can find both options.

    Make sure to re-sync all products after doing so as mentioned above.

    I have applied the following as per requested though hiding sold out products option is an essential feature for my business.

    do you know by any chance another way/plugin that automatically hides sold out products?

    Hi,

    To clarify, can you try deleting the product from Facebook using the “Delete from Facebook” option? It can be found on the Edit Product page within WooCommerce, and then sync the product again – this is to confirm that the product is indeed removed from Facebook. You can toggle the stock option from in stock to out of stock.

    Does that make a difference?
