Software Portal using WordPress

Hi to all. First of all i thank Matt for giving such wonderful product for free.

I am on the way to start a big software portal. Since i am not a guru in PHP/MySQL, i decided to go with CMS. My first option was Joomla. Joomla is great CMS which is complex like hell. It gave me what i needed but it gave me more. It has 1000’s of options but i need only some 10’s. So i said goodbye to Joomla and then i take a look at Drupal. On the first look i figured out that it is not for me. Then i thought about WordPress. I am using WordPress in other sites for more than 3 years. But i don’t have any idea that it will help me to build a powerful Software Portal. But it really did. Now i almost finished developing a Software Portal completely using Joomla.
