    Hmm. Well, that’s non-trivial, I think. The thing is that this is a listing of dates, so this is entirely valid. I could conceivably add some conditions that would cause that to generate a 404 if the dates shown didn’t include any events, but I’m not really sure that’s what I want. The page *is* present, and shows that for this date, there are no events; and that’s not really a 404 scenario.

    Hi Joe,

    Yes I thought the same thing. Google calls this a “pretty 404 with useful information for users (site visitors). but they st ill consider it a 404 without re-route info. Personally I like what you have created, rather than another loop. Please let me know if you come to a decision, I’m gonna keep things as they are.
