social tab not showing on some pages / cpt

It took me a long time to figure this out because it’s not intuitive, and I see others asking the question so I thought I’d share. If the social tab isn’t showing on a custom post type, you not only have to choose your cpt from the AIOSEO settings tab, you also have to choose it under the AIOSEO social meta tab > facebook options.
