    This behavior is due to default browser behavior with :hover rules in the CSS. Removing the hover CSS rules resolves the issue.

    @timbunch: what mobile OS/browser are you using? I tried to duplicate the issue using Chrome on Android 5.1 Lollipop and Chrome and Safari on iOS 8.4.1, but on all three I just need to do a single click to get it to work.
