Social Sharing and do_shortcode

Hi Chris,
It may be that you don’t have Enable Horizontal Widget turned on. In the admin settings under Horizontal Sharing it is the first option. Then at the bottom just disable the locations you don’t wish to use automatically such as home page etc and save your settings.

Why is there no option to show on Post Excerpts for the vertical widget? I was able to enable horizontal widget for excerpts and the vertical widget for individual blog posts but there wasn’t an option to have a vertical sharing module for both! Any ideas?

Hi jamesinagiantpeach,

The plugin was actually designed this way because on a page with excerpts the vertical sharing widget was duplicated multiple times. You can however use the shortcode to manually put a vertical widget where you’d prefer it.

Thanks for answering my question so quickly! The shortcode doesn’t seem to work when I try to manually put it there but I think this is probably an issue with the theme and not with your plugin. Thanks.
