    Hello

    I am trying to use Social Sharing using a Facebook App ID but when I enter an ID my quiz appears to be using to an ID that I don’t recognise and not the one that I have submitted. I am pretty sure this worked fine until the last upgrade.

  • For me, I’ve found that if I Save the post a second time, the Facebook app ID works. For some reason, it comes back with errors on the first save. You can also put the URL into https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and it will scrape the page.

    Hi silentsooty,
    the APP ID in use on your site is 611205966263142 which appears to be a valid ID that is authenticated with your domain – so no issues in using that ID to share your results on Facebook.

    HD Quiz 1.8x did not change the way the APP ID saves or anything. If you have entered a different ID into the HD QUiz options page than 611205966263142, then my best guess is that your caching system is storing a different ID.

    For example, the real Facebook SDK URL is https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js, but your caching system (WP Rocket) seems to download and serve up a local version at ./wp-content/cache/busting/facebook-tracking/fbsdk-en_US.js so this might be an issue resolved by simply clearing your site cache so that WP Rocket can rebuild the cache using the latest settings.
