    Hey there,

    I implemented social share buttons on my project page using JETPACK like the Jobify-Theme describes it. However, it is not the right solution I am looking for.

    I want that people can share a job in there networks (fb, google + …). The Link should contain a referral to the user who made the recommendation. If somebody gets the position using a recommendation, the user who made the recommendation gets a small payment.

    Can you help me, how to realize such a affiliate system in wp job manager? I have no idea how to do this.

    Hi @mokorana so essentially you are wanting to track who gives the reference. I’m not really sure how to do that, you would probably need to work out an integration between an affiliate plugin and a sharing plugin so that the links created would use the current logged in users affiliate id if they had one.

    yes, you are right. But due to make things more simple, can i use a sharing plugin combinde with piwik instead of an affiliate plugin? What do you think? And I dont want to use the users affiliate id, i gues the “normal” user ID should be enough?

    You could certainly use piwik for tracking. I’m going to mark this as solved since this is really outside the scope of WPJM. You might want to start a topic in the main forum since all you are really trying to do is track sharing to a user for a post, this has nothing to do with the actual post type being shared.
