Social Share Buttons on Single Classifieds

  • Hi,

    First off, great classifieds plugin, I’ve tried a few and this is my favourite “simple” version so far. I’m using it here and here for reference.

    I have two quick questions:

    1. What’s the easiest way to add social share buttons to the single classifieds listing? Can this be done with Jetpack’s social share buttons?

    2. Different stylesheets seem to be applied to eg. homepage and single classified listing pages, thus giving the homepage sidebar, for example, a different look and behaviour than the sidebar on the single classified listing page. Any suggestion on how to fix this?

    apologies for the late reply.

    Glad you’re happy with CWP ??

    1. You should be able to use Jetpacks social button but only after some tweaks. Ideally, you should one of these CWP filters to display the social buttons:

    single_classified_listing_start
    single_classified_listing_end

    Depending on where you want to display the icons. Before, or after the classified description.

    You can use this tutorial as a starting point. You need to remove the existing Jetpack filter and hook it into one of CWP’s custom filters.

    2. They use different templates, not stylesheets. What do you need exactly here? You can customize them and add or remove the sidebar. We recommend that you do this using a child theme.

    The homepage looks fine, the single classified post does not.
