Social Plugin Not Allowing Framework/Site Changes

Hello,
I love the Social plugin, however when I activate the plugin, I can no longer update theme settings and many things break in the backend of the site. As far as I can tell my framework updates using AJAX, and based on a comment from the main plugin site, apparently there could be a JQuery conflict between Social and my theme. The theme I am using is by WooThemes, specifically Canvas, which uses the WooFramework.

Can anyone shed some light on how I could go about fixing this? Maybe make Social not load JQuery? Afraid my limited knowledge has me stuck right now.
