Social menu – dequeue Genericons?

I’m developing a custom theme and I use Jetpack’s built-in social menu function. However, my theme also enqueues its own version of Genericons. Is there a way I can tell Jetpack not to enqueue its own version of Genericons and instead use the theme’s version?
Or can I reverse it: tell my theme to check if Jetpack has enqueued Genericons and only enqueue its own version if Jetpack isn’t active?
