I’ve tried probably 20 different social media floating sidebars, and they all display the wrong featured image when posted on Facebook. Has anyone else had this problem/found a fix for it?

From here, you should check out the Facebook URL Debugger to see what Facebook sees from your site. It may be that since Facebook (in my experience) tends to pull the first og:image it finds, if you check your page source, you may have an og:image higher up the page.

    hiphopinenglish,

Thanks for the fast response. When I ran the debugger, it showed several columns of featured images, and the wrong picture was the first one. However, I don’t know how to change it up or what to do next.

Interestingly enough, when I inspect element, it shows the correct og: image.

You could try this plugin (untested), or see some ways around the problem: here
