Social Media Preview Images

The preview links on Social Media are not working properly.
1. I set a featured image for a post.
2. I copy-and-paste the link for the post into Facebook.
3. A preview appears which does indeed use the featured image.
4. However, when the post is submitted, the featured image goes away and the only image on the post is my website logo.When I try my URL on the Facebook debugger, I see the correct preview image. However, there is also a warning “The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.”
