I am creating a Coming soon page locally on my computer. I am trying to put a social media icon into the header. To my surprise, this is extremely difficult. I created a header widget in the header. I managed to place the icon on the right. It looks alright on the desktop. But as soon as it appears on a mobile screen, the icon moves down the page instead of moving to the left or below the logo. I spent hours trying everything using CSS, but to no avail. Can you please help?

  • Hi @mica123 ,
    Thanks for reaching out.
here are the steps to add social icons in header –
    – Login to the site as an admin user and open the home page.
    – From the top bar select customize
    – Navigate to header > header widgets > Add header widgets
    – Search for social icons
    – Add the icons as needed

We tried replicating the issue following the above-mentioned steps to add social icons and the social icons are appearing as expected.

Please add some screenshots if you still face the same issue and elaborate on the steps you are following.

    Best Regards

    Hello @rajatt777,

Thank you. The thing is that I did add the Twitter icon to the header widget in the header. It looked alright on the desktop, but not on mobile devices. As soon as the screen became smaller, the icon moved down the page instead of staying on the right or moving below the logo. In the end, I managed to position it in the center below the centered logo using a very complicated CSS. But I am surprised that I had such difficulty. Is this supposed to be easy to do?

    Hi @mica123 ,
Yes as we just added the social icons in header widget .
The icons on mobile screen also remain consistent in the header only.

I am not sure I understand. When did you add the social icons in header widget?

    Hi @mica123 ,

    Sorry for the confusion.
We tried replicating your issue on our test site.
We didn’t encounter any difficulty and the social icons widget stayed in the header only on mobile also.
